Spare Tire Delete Kit

This kit is great. It was an easy install for the spare tire delete including the camera transition. The videos were helpful.

2021 JL

Install on 2021 JL was easy. Camera mount worked fine-appears it was updated to fit 2021 camera.

Does not work with 2021 Camera

This product does not work with 2021 Jeep JLU Camera I called Aztec and tech said no fix yet how ever I am a fabricator and made a fix .

Great product but needs an update

Let me start off by saying this product looks and fits great. Install was very straight forward and easy. The videos really helped The plate light wiring is a bit more complex but I watched the video a few times before and during the install.The kit has one major flaw my 2021 Camera is different then the 18-20 models and does not fit their bracket. It falls through the mounting hole since the camera does not have the small screw mounts that are used by the kit. (watching the videos this will make more sense) I used electrical tape to hold the camera in place and it seems to be working just fine. If they update the camera mount for 21 models I would love to install it and update my review

5 stars Great quality YouTube video makes install easy and even points out an easy to make gotcha on the camera orientation. Looks awesome as well and cant beat the price.

Great product

Recently installed the Artec spare tire delete on my 2018 Jeep JL Rubicon. It is super easy to install and if you have issues or questions the videos are very helpful. I like the clean look of this delete it is a nice weight and the powder coating looks awsome. I would highly recommend this product.

Pretty Perfect!

I really thought about getting a delete for a while and I finally pulled the trigger. Theres a few out there that Im sure we all searched for and thought about but to me Artec did it best. Obviously thats my opinion but the use of the OEM stop light the camera placement and aluminum structure is what ultimately sold me. When I received it everything went together as it should definitely well made. I used the youtube video to help get everything together but no real issues. Surprisingly removing my 35 allowed me to gain about 2.5mpgs

Delete kit

Very clean look. The color matched well with my bumpers and the surrounding accents of the Wrangler. The LED lights are a must if city driving and look great and clean as well. Simple install while following along with the Artec YouTube tutorial.I City park in various lots and streets and that extra room helps when parking in tight spots. Less weight on the vehicle and I carry a tire plug if needed with added Roadside Assitance on my insurance.

will this product on a 2022 JL

Hello, I bought this delete kit from car id website. I installed it yesterday and realized that i have two unused holes on each side by the license plate area. I am not sure what the holes are for and I have nothing to go there. They are not screw holes they are just plain holes with no purpose. I am worried about rain and mud getting inside them. In your pictures onthe website, you have some pics with the two holes and some pics without. I did not get the license plate light model so not sure whats going on.

The rear view camera in the Willys 2022 is smaller than 2019 JL Will it fit your spare tire delete kit?

Is Part Number JL5627 in black powder coat and Part Number: OZ0803 available?

If just installing the JL rear tire delete (not the license place lights) are there splices that need to be done? I don't see any in the video but other kits have you splice into the factory wires.

A — Staff (Artec Team): There will be no splicing or cutting of wires as long as you are not going to run the license plate lights .

Will the Jl5624 tire delete kit work with my 2021 Rubicon with tailgate tire reinforcement bracket installed? Does it fit on top of it or does the reinforcement kit need to be removed?

A — Staff (Artec Team): It will not work with the 2021 due to a change in the camera that Jeep uses we will be offering a new mount for the 2021 soon.

Is there a model of this that will fit a 2010 JK with after an market camera? Need the brake lights and plates as well. Ty!
